Wachusett Mountain State Reservation is located roughly 10 miles west of Clinton, MA. The main landmark of the area is Mount Wachusett, which rises 2,006 feet from the valley floor, giving visitors a spectacular view of the Berkshires to the west and the Boston skyline to the east. Hiking and picnicking are popular, and there is a visitor center to aid travelers with knowledge of the park.
