Whitehall State Park is located in Hopkinton, roughly four miles southwest of Ashland, MA. Consisting almost entirely of water, this park is good for boating, swimming and fishing. There are also some hiking trails around the Whitehall Reservoir.

The 157-acre Ashland Reservoir is situated inside Ashland State Park, which covers 470 acres in eastern Massachusetts. Beaches, picnicking, swimming and boating are all available in the summertime, while cross country skiing is a well-liked winter activity. Open annually from Memorial Day to Labour Day.
